In early 1980s, HBC, with consideration to the first Pingwei 600MW project in China, has successfully introduced GE’s design and making technology for subcritical parameter large-capacity boiler, and designed and made first subcritical boiler in China. We made 300MW~360MW natural circulation and controlled circulation boiler accommodating different fuels, including furnace burning the anthracite, meagre coal, bitumite, lignite, oil and associated coal gas, and basically complete furnace series has taken shape. We have signed the 180-plus 300MW boilers contract, among which 120-plus are in operation. After unremitting perfection, the 300-360MW subcritical boiler in terms of boiler performance and operation reliability designed and made by HBC has been significantly bettered, which can fully meet the requirements of every user, and it has been exported to India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Brazil and North Korea etc.
